Intensive training and development of leadership skills

The Collbató Residential Training Campus, which is part of the EADA Business School, is located 40 km from Barcelona in the town of Collbató. EADA is a pioneer in the use of outdoor training methodologies to develop management and leadership skills through its use of real-life experiences. The working environment is recreated and the physical and emotional elements required when taking business decisions are brought into play.

At the EADA outdoor campus, participants take part in two types of activity: one on the “high ropes” and the other on the “low ropes”. The difference between the two activities depends on the knowledge areas, skills and critical situations that the participants are required to tackle. The aim is to simulate situations faced by companies in the most realistic way possible.

The activities on the “high ropes” are high impact training activities which are followed by a detailed debriefing which includes video footage of the activity for the participants to analyse.

Physical and emotional challenges to become a true leader

Learning takes place during these activities by completing challenges and action simulations which in turn generate personal and collective values. Participants must help each other face their fears and psychological limitations in a scenario which has been designed just for them. The participants must learn how to face and overcome each physical and emotional challenge in the best way they can.

The activities on the “low ropes” are designed for teamwork, developing strategies, improving communication and establishing trust. These activities also require creativity, leadership, planning, communication and the optimisation of team resources.
